| Description | Georgia high school seniors or transfer students who qualify for the $3000 per year Georgia HOPE Scholaship may be awarded a matching $3000 via the Wesleyan Hope Grant program. To be eligible, they must complete all required admission materials by February 1, be offered admission by the College, have at least a 3.25 GPA in the college's required college preparatory program of studies, and at least a 1050 SAT or 23 ACT. A student must maintain her HOPE Scholarship eligibility in order to renew this matching grant. Unlike the HOPE Scholarship, this matching grant may not be re-earned once it has been lost due to a failure to meet renewal requirements. A student will not be allowed to receive both the matching grant and an institutional scholarship of higher value. |
