Comments
UBC welcomes applications from well-qualified Canadian and international (including US) students. Since UBC receives many more applications than the University can approve, admission is competitive. The basis of admission to UBC is academic achievement. Strong secondary school or transfer grades may be sufficient for a successful application. Undergraduate applicants completing their final high school year outside Canada are strongly encouraged to complete Supplementary information, for broad-based admission consideration. Requirements for American curriculum students include: Graduation from academic/college-prep program; Four years of English (not ESL) to senior level; Three years of mathematics to junior level; Minimum three other full-year senior-level academic subjects; SAT I or ACT + Writing (where unavailable, exemptions may be granted.) Generous credit is available in enriched programs such as AP/IB/A-level. See https://you.ubc.ca for full admission details.
