Sarah Lawrence College offers centralized desktop computing and printing resources in the Library, the Heimbold Visual Arts Center, Hill House Residence Hall and MacCracken Residence Hall. Computing environments include WindowsXP and OSX 10.5 or greater. Certain departments (Sciences, Music, Visual Arts) have specialized lab resources. Students can borrow laptop computers for academic use from the Audio/Visual Department. The campus network is primarily wireless (types b & g) with practically 100% coverage in all residence halls, classrooms and public spaces. The College maintains a Gigabit connection to the Internet.
