Faculty Comments
| The Sarah Lawrence College faculty is committed to regular, one-to-one interaction with students. Most classes are seminars with 11-12 students. Each seminar course includes a conference component (think independent, student-directed research) that involves weekly or biweekly meetings between each student and his/her faculty member in each class. We do not use adjuncts (though we do engage Guest faculty in teaching across the curriculum), and we never use teaching assistants. Our faculty serve as student advisors or "Dons" as we call them. You will find no "professional advisors" here. |
