Academic Scholarships
Description Awards for in-district students are based on the GPA of their most recent High School transcript, score on their GED diploma, or Career college GPA. However, college GPA will only be considered if a student has attempted 12 or more college hours since graduating from high school or receiving the GED.

Activity Scholarships
Description Tuition award up to 17 hours/semester for in-district students. Participation in the consumable book loan program. Current student in 12 hours/semester as of the 11th day of the semester. Business Program Scholarships

Dean's Scholarship
Description High School GPA of 2.5 to 2.99. GED Test score of 52.0 to 57.99. College Career GPA of 2.5 to 2.99. Tuition award up to 8 hours/semester. Current student in 12 hours/semester as of the 11th day of the semester. Successfully complete a minimum of 12 hours/semester. Maintain a minimum Career GPA of 2.0.

Educational Opportunity Scholarship
Description Must be a high school graduate or GED recipient. Must be less than 62 years of age. Prior NCCC students must have Career GPA of 2.0. Attempted 63 hours of less at NCCC. Student must be degree or certificate seeking at NCCC. Current student in a minimum of 6 hours/semester as of the 11th day of the semester. Award is 50% of tuition at a minimum enrollment of 6 credit hours and a maximum enrollment of 12 credit hours per semester. Successfully complete a minimum of 3 hours/semester. Maintain a minimum Career GPA of 2.0.

High School Scholarship
Description Must be an in-district high school student in grade 11 or 12. Demonstrated the ability to benefit from participation in the regular curricula of NCCC. Authorized by high school principal to enrolle at NCCC. Accepted for enrollment at NCCC. High school GPA of 3.6 as of the end of the previous academic year. Awarded on an academic year basis. Scholarships will not be awarded based on a mid-year GPA. Tuition award up to 6 hours/semester. Contact high school counselor or NCC Dean of Continuing Education for additional details and scholarship procedures.

Industrial Engineering Technology Scholarships
Description Awarded by NCCC Technology instructors to in-district students. Prospective scholarship receipients must complete and submit an NCCC scholarship application to the NCCC Admissions Office and/or to the respective scholarship sponsor. Applicants for academic scholarships must provide a copy of their high school transcript, GED diploma, and all previous college transcripts. Service scholarship applicants must provide a copy of their high school transcript. Certain scholarships require additonal application procedures, which include a Student Statement and three (3) referenes. Please contact the respective sponsor for more details. Students should indicate their scholarship interests on the back of the scholarship application. NCCC scholarship sponsors will send scholarship award agreements to eligible applicants.

Jewell Olson Memorial Scholarship
Description Scholarship alternates between Erie High School and Chanute High School graduating seniors. Contact either counselor at the respective high school. This scholarship can be awarded in addition to other scholarships.

Mary Grimes Nursing
Description An institutional scholarship funded by private funds. Must be currently enrolled in nursing program to make application. Scholarship information is available through Director of Nursing.

NJCAA Athletic Scholarships
Description Tuition award up to 17 hours/semester for in-state students. Various tuition awards for out-of-state students, as determined by the respective coach. Participation in the consumable book loan program. Meet and abide by all NJCAA regulations. Abide by any and all team rules.

Nursing
Description The Director of Nursing awards nursing scholarships to in-district students. The Foundation also awards Educational Opportunity scholarships. Nursing Scholarships
Description Nursing scholarships are awarded based on the Nursing Entrance Test (NeT) score. These scholarships are awarded on a 2-year basis, to coincide with the length of the Nursing Program. The scholarship does include an award for the summer term, as it is a required term in the Nursing Program. Must be enrolled in a minimum of 2 NCCC nursing hours each semester or summer session. Must receive a grade of "C" or better in all courses required in the Nursing Program. Must be an in-district student.

President's Scholarship
Description High School GPA of 3.5 to 3.99. GED Test score of 65.0 to 80.0. College Career GPA of 3.5 to 3.89. Tuition award up to 16 hours/semester. Participation in the non-consumable book loan program. Current student in 12 hours/semester as of the 11th day of the semester. Successfully complete a minimum of 12 hours/semester. Maintain a minimum career GPA of 3.0.

Senior Citizens Scholarship
Description Must be an in-district student, 62 years of age or older. Scholarships are available for the fall, spring, & summer terms. Award pays for tuition, technology fee, incidental fee, and student union fee. Class fees, books, and additional fees are the student's responsibility.

Service Scholarships

Staff and Dependent Scholarships
Description Awarded to NCCC full-time employees and their dependents. Employee must be employed at NCCC on the first day and the last day of class. Award pays tuition at the in-state rate. Student must reimburse NCCC for each credit hour that they don't receive a grade of A, B, C, or P. Participation in the consumable book loan program. Application forms are available in the Financial Aid Office.

Vice President's Scholarship
Description High School GPA of 3.0 to 3.49. GED Test score of 58.0 to 64.99. College Career GPA of 3.0 to 3.49. Tuition award up to 16 hours/semester. Current student in 12 hours/semester as of the 11th day of the semester. Successfully complete a minimum of 12 hours/semester. Maintain a minimum Career GPA of 2.5.
