Bethany College - Bethany
Bethany, a small college of national distinction, was founded March 2, 1840. For nearly 170 years, Bethany College has been a highly contemporary institution based in the tradition of the liberal arts. Bethany's 1,300-acre campus is located in the northern panhandle of West Virginia in the foothills of the Allegheny Mountains. Pittsburgh, America's Most Livable City, is a 50-minute drive from campus. Wheeling, W.Va.; Washington, Pa.; and Steubenville, Ohio are less than a half-hour away.
