Arapahoe Community College was the first community college to open in the Denver area. What began as Arapahoe Junior College with 550 students has grown into a bustling community college serving over 20,000 credit and non-credit students annually. Arapahoe Community College is accredited by The Higher Learning Commission and a member of the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools. ACC instructional divisions include Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences, Business and Professional Services, Health, Math, Science and Engineering and Police Academy. We also offer hundreds of non-credit courses and a Corporate Learning Division. Eighty-two percent of our faculty have advanced degrees and 16 percent have doctorates.
