Penn Valley Community College is a member of the Metropolitan Community Colleges (MCC) district in Kansas City, Missouri. It is one of the oldest two-year colleges in the state of Missouri. Overlooking a park in the heart of metropolitan Kansas City, Penn Valley boasts an enrollment of over 6,000 students and is recognized as the most ethnically diverse campus in the MCC. Students can choose among 70 occupational programs ranging from automotive technology to veterinary technology. In particular, the nursing and allied health programs at Penn Valley are known throughout the Midwest as centers of excellence.
