they send a big envelope if accepted and a skinny one if not.
they usually come out before the fifteenth. Usually on the 12th or 13th.
If you're waiting a long time it probably is bad news....but thats all ive gathered on my hours of lurking on Pomona CC posts.

I would think better later than never, but you could call the FA office and ask. You file the FAFSA online, so it's not a postmark deadline.
