Ashland University is a mid-sized regional teaching university, historically related to the Brethren Church. Our mission is to serve the educational needs of all studentsundergraduate and graduate, traditional and non-traditional, full and part-timeby providing educational programs of high quality in an environment that is both challenging and supportive. The student-faculty ratio of 16-to-1 means students receive the individual attention essential for educational growth. Classes and labs at Ashland are taught by professors, not graduate assistants. Because the faculty are teaching oriented, they spend whatever time is necessary to ensure that students attain a quality education.
