Are you transferring from a Comm. College?
It's possible they may make an exception. Call the ECU admissions office.
I think you had to have four math credits from High Sch. Thats what my S had but he went in as a freshman so it may be different for transfers.

S is a soph at ECU and is very happy there. We are instate ( and not engineering major)so I don't have any answers for your questions, sorry :). I know there are lots of kids fr. VA at ECU.
ECU has rolling admissions.
If your S is interested in ECU he should apply as early as possible. ...
