nyc2013 they told me that story too! in fact, she went to school at some freakish hour every morning to complete her homework, and spent all her after-school hours caring for her grandmother. She was admitted.

Being fluent in two languages is definitely a plus. That said, graduating high school a year early isn't an excuse for low SAT's. The SAT's generally test what's learned from 8th grade until sophomore year, and if you graduated early you must have been a good student. Barnard is very big on ...
