LEAP employs unique programs to help students get to—and through—college

Since 1999, Learning Enrichment & Assistance Program LLC (LEAP) has strived to help college-bound students stand out from the crowd. LEAP prepares students with vital knowledge—of self, of college, and of the future world of work—and equips them to graduate in four years, saving tens of thousands of future tuition dollars. LEAP is also hired by companies such as Procter & Gamble to speak to international transplants about the ins and outs of the U.S. educational system.

The U.S. Department of Education estimates that four-year graduation rates for public institutions stand at a dismally low 29 percent, while private colleges are at 50 percent. LEAP students from around the country are positioned to realize on-time graduation rates with the Birkman Method® approach to college major and career coaching. LEAP students choose a college major that corresponds to their individual best-match careers, identifying the schools that are recognized for those majors and that align with their families’ demographic requirements.

Families local to the Greater Cincinnati area have the added benefit of LEAP’s on-site array of offerings. Through small-group classes and individual tutoring, students build excellent study habits, keep their grades up, and maximize their scores on the PSAT, ACT, SAT, and AP exams.

With national student-guidance counselor ratios averaging 1:450, many families are left feeling ill-equipped by their school to navigate the college search process and find the best fit for their individual student. Local families can enroll in LEAP’s Practical Approach to College program or private college guidance, which assists families in capitalizing on the high school years and helps students learn to embody those attributes that their best-fit schools seek.

The success of LEAP’s approach is in student results. LEAP’s proven methods have helped to increase ACT/SAT scores, producing test takers who land in the 95th percentile or above and who are National Merit finalists, semi-finalists, and commended students. LEAP students are admitted to local flagship universities as well as to highly selective schools such as Boston College, University of Miami, and University of Chicago. Students whose admittance has been deferred or waitlisted have relied on LEAP to move successfully into the regular pool at their school of choice. Future teachers, business leaders, engineers, doctors, and lawyers have all benefitted from LEAP and are graduating on time.
