University of Advancing TechnologyUAT is a small private college focused exclusively on advancing and emerging technology disciplines. Our academic programs tend to be unique, emerging years ahead of similar programs at other schools. After we identify which emerging technologies will resonate with our students, we develop them into undergraduate and graduate programs.

UAT academic programs result in associate, bachelor’s, or master’s degrees. Academic programs are offered in a Year-Round Balanced Learning environment in arts and sciences, which means that students attend classes year-round.

The College of Multimedia

Multimedia careers join creativity, art and technology. At the core of this program is the understanding that multimedia reaches into everyone’s lives virtually all of the time, because Multimedia encompasses the primary senses of sight, sound, and touch. Students within this program, regardless of major, will gain an appreciation for this concept and will understand its application within their discipline. Students may earn a Bachelor or Associate of Arts degree in the following majors:

  • Digital Animation
  • Digital Art and Design
  • Digital Video
  • Game Design
  • Game Art and Animation

The College of Software Engineering

UAT’s SWE program offers an opportunity within each major to understand how technology integrates into society, adding functionality and speed to activity. The SWE program content is designed to provide the knowledge needed to ensure success in a technology climate where continuously expanding computer expertise is vital. Students in the SWE program will have the opportunity to learn and create software applications that move technology forward. Additionally, students may choose to study network design, implementation and troubleshooting, and security.

Students may earn a Bachelor or Associate of Science degree in the following majors:

  • Computer Forensics
  • Game Programming
  • Network Engineering
  • Network Security
  • Robotics and Embedded Systems

  • Web Architecture

The College of Technology Commerce

Students in the College of Technology Commerce will be taught the ideal combination of business and technical knowledge needed to further an organization’s goals and objectives in a business climate where computer expertise is vital for success. Technology affects all areas of business, such as management, training, purchasing, research, marketing and accounting.

Students may earn a Bachelor or Associate of Science degree in the following major:

  • Technology Management
