The Master’s College

The Master’s University is a Christian institution known for compelling students to academic achievement and professional excellence since 1927. There are more than 175 bachelor’s, master’s, credential, and certificate programs across eight schools. Admissions

The reported acceptance rate at The Master’s University in 2018 was 77%. The school is quite selective. Half of the applicants admitted have an SAT score between 1010 and 1240, or an ACT score between 21 and 27. A quarter of admitted students scored above these ranges, and a quarter scored below these ranges. To apply for The Master’s University, you must pay a one-time application fee of $40. The deadline is rolling, but SAT and ACT scores must be received by August 1st.

Santa Clarita is a great place for college students to be because the neighborhoods are gorgeous, there is reliable public transportation, fabulous places to eat, and many hiking trails to explore. It’s less than an hour from Los Angeles, and the weather is pretty pleasant year-round.

Housing

Residence halls at The Master’s University are equipped with two-person dorm rooms. The dorms have halls or wings with two community bathrooms on each floor. Students wishing to have their own space can pay extra to have a single room (though the rooms are all designed for two people). Dorms are furnished with two desks, two chairs, two long twin mattresses, two dressers, and two closets. Air conditioning is provided in every room. By living on-campus, students can also take advantage of housekeeping services at no charge in the common areas and bathrooms. Laundry facilities are available for guests and students to use, and are coin-operated.

Students must bring their own linens, bedding, towels, detergent, hangers, wastebaskets, shower caddies, utensils and dishes, and other personal essentials. Since The Master’s University does not provide refrigerators, or kitchen facilities in the dorms, students can bring their own kitchen essential items like mini-fridges, microwaves, rice cookers, tea kettles, and toaster ovens if they wish.

In the 2018-2019 academic year, students typically paid about $10,550 for housing and dining costs. Over time though, incoming students can expect to pay more following inflation. For example, current incoming freshmen could expect to pay about $15,417 for room and board, as well as a few other expenses. Living on-campus is not mandatory at The Master’s University, but is highly recommended especially for newcomers.

Scholarships

It’s a no-brainer that college is expensive, but The Master’s University really makes it a priority to help make higher education affordable for all. They even have a scholarship called the John P. There are a total of 2,057 students enrolled into The Master’s University. 1,387 of those students are pursuing undergraduate degrees, while the remainder 670 are enrolled in graduate programs. By gender, 1,297 male and 760 female students are attending this university.
